A fishing expert has been left drenched in blood by a ‘stalker’ seagull who is holding him hostage.
Martyn Green, 62, said he was taken prisoner in his own home by a psychopathic male bird.
But the winged menace points to poor Martyn – leaving his wife Julie alone.

He said, “Every time I go out, that seagull comes down and comes after me.
“The other day he came down and ran up behind me and stabbed me in the top of my head. I ended up with blood running down the back of my head.

“It was really painful. And for four or five days I had a raging infection that could have come from the seagull.
Martyn, who trains angling coaches, added that the male was just one of many gulls nesting in his chimney.
He added: “It seems to be going after me, not my wife – he’s going after me.”
James Reseigh of LiveWest Housing Association, who rents the house in Totnes, Devon, said: ‘We will appoint a licensed contractor to look at the most appropriate preventative measures for this particular house.
Cllr Jonathan Hawkins, of South Hams District Council, said gull protection would be added ‘once the current gull nest is gone’.

The brazen bird is thought to have escaped with at least 17kg of food in a year – although its total haul could be even higher than that.
His latest raid on the Tesco Extra store in Paignton, Devon was filmed as he trotted around with a bag of Mini Cheddars.
He was seen hiding outside the store before sneaking through the automatic doors and then reappearing with the pack in his beak.
