Bholaa: Tabu closes her 9th movie with Ajay Devgn and shares adorable photo with actor


On Friday, Bollywood star Tabu dropped a photo with Ajay Devgn as it is a wrap for their 9th movie Bholaa. On Instagram, the actor announced the wrap of her upcoming film.

She shared the photo, writing: “Look!! We finished our 9th movie together! #wewrap #bholaa @ajaydevgn @adffilms.” The photo shows Tabu in a white shirt and a jacket over it. She plays the role of a fearless, daring, high-ranking police officer in the film. Next to her is co-star Ajay in a black kurta and red gamcha wrapped around his neck.

Bholaa marks Ajay’s fourth directorial film after U, Me aur Hum in 2008, Shivaay in 2016 and Runwav 34 in 2022. The film, which was previously slated to be directed by Dharmendra Sharma, is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil hit ‘Kaithi`. . The original film revolves around an ex-con who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after he is released from prison, but becomes embroiled in a confrontation between the police and the drug mafia.

Tabu and Ajay have shared the screen in such films as Vijaypath, Haqeeqat, Thakshak, Fitoor, Drishyam, Golmaal Again and De De Pyaar De. In addition to Bholaa, the actors will also be seen in Drishyam 2. Aided by Abhishek Pathak, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta. Ajay Devgn’s character of Vijay in the hit 2015 movie Drishyam made everyone believe that their family was going on vacation, which in turn was a perfect plan to save his family from a murder conviction. Ajay is all set to reprise one of his most intriguing on-screen characters and continue in Vijay’s shoes in the sequel.

The story reveals a journey that leaves the audience thinking about what might be his way out this time. Tabu will reprise her role as Meera Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police. The Hindi version, headlined Ajay, was a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, starring Mohanlal. It was directed by the nationally awarded director Nishikant Kamat.
