Emilia Clarke comments on Game Of Thrones’ Jon Snow series

The Game of Thrones cast members have continued to do various things after seeing their profiles skyrocket on the show, but it’s clear that at least some of them want to come back, if they have the chance. opportunity.

One of these people is not Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys Targaryen, who was asked in a recent TSWT interview if she would return if given the chance (despite her character’s death).

“No, I think I’m done,” she laughed.

But she had a few things to say about her fellow cast member who is not fact, Kit Harrington, who is currently attached to a proposed Game of Thrones sequel series featuring his character, Jon Snow, who survived the finale and went to live in the Far North. But it turns out he’s not just attached, he’s intimately involved in creating the show in the first place, according to Clarke:

“He told me about it. And I know it exists. It’s happening… It was created by Kit as far as I know, so it’s been in it from the start. So what you will hopefully watch if it happens is certified by Kit Harington.”

A series of Jon Snow sequels would be tricky because that’s just it, a sequel, which would take place not thousands, hundreds or decades before the events of the main show like many other concepts Proposed Game of Thrones spin-offs, but in the somewhat immediately after the White Walker War, Daenerys’ death, and Bran’s appointment.

Jon Snow’s end was meant to be somewhat bittersweet, given that he was forced to kill the woman he loved, his Aunt Daenerys (always rude!), so he goes to live in relative solitude in the Far North, as it began in the series, even with a possible legitimate claim to the throne itself. But it looks like a new series probably wouldn’t let him stay there.

Slowly, various other cast members are asked about the Jon Snow show and if they would return. Another cast member recently asked about Brienne of Tarth herself, Gwendoline Christie, who told Newsweek, “Brienne of Tarth is incredibly close to my heart, and I would relish any opportunity to see her again. I think she’s tough.”

Although Jon Snow and Brienne weren’t exactly related, it’s just one of the many questions a series like this raises, like if he’s the Unique lead, or if we start jumping around the map again, which could bring in all sorts of surviving characters. But mostly, one would wonder if his siblings would reappear, given that Arya, Sansa, and Bran all survived the finale. Sansa, who now rules the North, would seem hard to avoid, as would Bran, the leader of it all. Arya is supposed to cross an ocean, which sounds like a more interesting spin-off idea to me, but who knows.

We’ll see if that comes true. It’s a big risk for HBO, but they’re clearly looking forward to more great Game of Thrones content in the future to regain some of that lost magic.
