Eye on Africa – Warnings at the UN General Assembly as the global hunger crisis deepens

It is estimated that 140 million people in Africa face acute food insecurity. Floods in Nigeria have killed more than 300 people so far this year as the country faces its worst flooding in a decade. And protesters take to the streets of Abidjan in solidarity with 46 soldiers detained in neighboring Mali. .
