South Korea’s government announced on Wednesday that it will resume flights between Seoul’s Gimpo International Airport and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on June 29 after they were suspended since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The reopening of the main road linking the Japanese and South Korean capitals will help improve the convenience of business travelers and tourists, giving impetus to the expansion of trade between the two countries.
