JAKARTA: Indonesia’s central bank left interest rates at a record high on Thursday, balancing the need to support economic growth while keeping the rupiah stable.

Bank Indonesia (BI) kept the benchmark 7-day reverse repurchase rate at 3.50%, as expected by the majority of economists in a Reuters poll.

It also left overnight deposit and lending facility rates unchanged at 2.75% and 4.25%.
