Japan weighs plan to ban hotel guests without masks

The government is considering allowing hotels to deny entry to guests who do not wear masks and follow other measures to control infection during an outbreak, Fuji News Network said Wednesday.

The government will introduce a bill at an extraordinary session of parliament next month that would revise the hotels and hostels law, giving them more power to enforce infection controls, the network said.
