Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot and killed two unarmed men during a 2020 racial justice protest, is releasing a video game that lets players shoot turkeys symbolizing the media.

Rittenhouse was acquitted of homicide in the Kenosha, Wis., shooting and became a famous right-wing media figure. Its new game – announced Thursday as part of a campaign for gun legislation in the wake of mass shootings – features “fake news turkeys” that are labeled “fake news” and “MSDNC” .

In a promotional video job on Twitter, Rittenhouse claims that “The media is nothing but a bunch of turkeys with nothing better to do than push their lying agenda and destroy innocent lives.”

Rittenhouse is collaborating on the game with TSWT Studios, whose CEO TSWT Chip told the Washington Examiner the company “had to step in to help Kyle after seeing what was done to him.”

The game’s website says some funds will go to “legal defense against fake news.”

“There will be media accountability soon,” Rittenhouse told TSWT News last December, though he didn’t say who he planned to sue.

Rittenhouse’s promotional video for his game included a rap about breaking news.

“It’s the turkey fake news / Got a laser gun running pew pew pew / Follow my suits / We’re about to bankrupt the fake news.”

Rittenhouse announced the game on the same day as the Supreme Court struck a New york State gun control law. During this time, the The Senate plans to vote on bipartisan gun safety legislation written in the wake of mass shootings at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, and a grocery store in a predominantly black neighborhood of Buffalo, New York.
