Man arrested in city’s latest murder


Wichita Falls police have arrested a man in connection with the town’s latest murder.

According to Wichita Falls police spokesman, Sgt. Charlie Eipper:

Wichita Falls police arrested the suspected shooter while investigating a homicide in Scotland Park on Tuesday morning.

Police have arrested Jason Christopher Myers, 39, and charged him with murder after investigating the scene of a shooting in the north of the city at Scotland Park on Tuesday.

According to an earlier report by Times Record News, WFPD patrol officers responded to the 200 block of the Central Freeway on Tuesday morning for an assault with a weapon. They found a shot man and emergency medics worked to revive him, but he died at the scene.
