Raju Srivastava dead: late comedian wife Shikha Srivastava calls him ‘true fighter’


Raju Srivastava’s wife Shikha Srivastava talked about the tragic loss of her husband. Speaking to ETimes, an inconsolable Shikha said briefly, “I can’t talk right now. What can I share or say now? He’s been fighting really hard, I really hoped and prayed to see him get out of this. But, that’s not I can only say that he was a real fighter.”

In a tragic news story this morning (September 21), comedian Raju Srivastava, who was previously hospitalized after collapsing while exercising at a gym, has passed away. The news has been confirmed by his family, the ANI news agency reported.

“Comedian Raju Srivastava dies in Delhi at age 58, his family confirms. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Aug. 10 after experiencing chest pains and collapsing while exercising at the gym,” the tweet read. news agency ANI. According to PTI, Raju Srivastava’s brother confirmed that the comedian died after 41 days in the Delhi hospital.

For the inexperienced, Srivastava suffered a heart attack on the morning of August 10 while working out in a gym in South Delhi and he was rushed to AIIMS, New Delhi. The 58-year-old comedian complained that he felt uneasy when he was taken to hospital. Srivastava had collapsed after experiencing chest pains while running on the treadmill at the gym. He underwent an angioplasty the same day. His trainer took him to the hospital. At the time of the heart attack, Raju Srivastava was in Delhi to meet with some state leaders.

Srivastava has been working in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s and gained recognition after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005. He has starred in such films as Maine Pyar Kiya, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, and Main Prem Ki Deewani Hone among others.
