Salman Khan participates in Green India Challenge, urges his fans to plant trees

Salman Khan, a Bollywood star, claimed that each herb gives everyone the amount of oxygen they need. The film actor, who is in Hyderabad for filming, took part in the Green India Challenge 5.0 on Tuesday alongside Rajya Sabha MP and Green India founder J Santosh Kumar.

Salman planted a seedling in Ramoji Film City while accompanied by his film crew.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that each person should take responsibility for the planting program and take care of the young trees until they grow into big trees. It is regrettable that the human losses due to natural calamities, heavy rains and floods are immense. The only solution to stem human losses is to promote massive plantations.

Salman praised TRS MP Santosh for accepting the heavy responsibility of the planting initiative. He asserted that the MP’s efforts to increase India’s green coverage will help protect the planet and future generations. He urged his followers to participate in the Green India Challenge and plant saplings widely.

Santosh Kumar has hailed the Bollywood celebrity for agreeing to take part in the Green India Challenge at his request. He claimed the Bollywood star’s efforts to plant trees would motivate millions of his followers. In addition to the film crew, Raghava and Karunakar Reddy, co-founders of the Green India Challenge, were there.

For those unaware, Salman will also appear in Tiger 3, the third film in the franchise, which is slated for release in 2023. Maneesh Sharma is the director of the action film, which also stars Katrina Kaif. According to reports, actor Shah Rukh Khan will take part in the film in a cameo role. Salman will also make a brief appearance in Shah Rukh’s upcoming film, Pathaan.
